Many clients enjoy the dreaming part of travel — imagining destinations, comparing styles, and deciding what feels like the right fit.
Where a travel advisor adds value is in managing the behind-the-scenes work that’s easy to underestimate, such as availability and policy comparisons, timing and logistics, coordination across suppliers, and anticipating details that can impact the overall experience. I handle the complex and time-consuming pieces, so you can enjoy the creative decisions while feeling confident that everything else has been thoughtfully considered.
We begin with a short intake form and conversation to understand your travel goals, style, and priorities. As part of that conversation, I’ll outline the recommended scope of support and discuss any planning fees, ensuring clarity before moving forward.
From there, I curate and refine options, manage research and coordination, and guide you through decisions until your trip is confirmed. Once travel is booked, I don’t simply step back — I walk alongside you through the preparation process, helping with timelines, logistics, and key details leading up to departure so you feel informed, supported, and excited to travel. To learn more about my planning process and fee structure, you can view a detailed overview here.
I work on a planning-fee plus commission compensation structure.
Planning fees are paid upfront for my time, expertise, and research, and are discussed during an initial intake call so we can clearly assess what support you need. For straightforward hotel stays or cruise-only bookings, a planning fee may not be required.
When applicable, commission is paid by travel suppliers after travel is completed. This structure allows me to focus first on what’s best for you, rather than steering recommendations based solely on supplier incentives. No matter the trip, I collaborate with trusted, high-quality travel partners that align with your needs. Every recommendation is guided by fit, not obligation.
I specialize in thoughtfully designed travel across Europe, South America, and Hawaii, with a focus on well-paced, experience-driven itineraries.
Many of the trips I plan combine multiple elements, such as pairing a luxury cruise with bespoke pre- or post-cruise land experiences that add depth and context to the journey.
If you’re dreaming about a trip and want help shaping how it comes together, I’m always happy to explore what’s possible—even if you’re still figuring out the destination.
In addition to custom itineraries, I often help clients with more complex or meaningful travel moments.
This can include multi-generational family trips, group and corporate incentive travel, wedding hotel blocks, honeymoons, and babymoons. These are often more complex trips, where having a clear plan and someone to manage the details makes all the difference.
In these cases, my role is to bring everything together behind the scenes, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
